Just like the 1983 U.S.-release Grunt v2, the Estrela Tan Grunt came with his tan helmet with ear holes. But, the Estrela release also included a large black machine gun.

  Collector's Notes

The Estrela Tan Grunt, Granadeiro Code Name Estopim, was licensed by Estrela for sale in Brazil as part of its Comandos em Ação toy line, which translates to Action Commandos. This figure was created with the swivel arms of v1.5 (82-83), but with the bulkier waist piece of v1 (1982). A tan Estrela Grunt is most easier differentiated from the 83 U.S. release by this waist piece. The U.S.-release, as with all figures after 1982, had a slimmer waist piece. The filecard and card design are unique to the Estrela figure.

In addition, the Estrela Tan Grunt was offered as a carded figure, while the Hasbro U.S.-release was only available as the Falcon Glider pilot, which makes this a cool piece for collectors.
